The Silicon Carbide added to the furace turn into the Si and C for casting iron, one is to improve the carbon content, and the second is to strengthen the reducibility of iron liquid. Increasing the nodular case iron graphite ball number per unit area and improving spheroidizing rate also has a good effcet on reducing nonmetallic inclusion and slag, eliminating shrinkage, and subcutaneous blowhole.
